I’m Amanda Gervasi, and I’m proud to be running for Ward 1 Councillor in Adjala-Tosorontio.
This community matters to me because it represents what so many families, residents, and local businesses value most: connection, hard work, safety, opportunity, and a strong sense of home.
As a mother, educator, business owner, and community member, I understand that strong leadership is not about making noise. It is about listening carefully, communicating clearly, asking the right questions, and making decisions that are responsible, practical, and rooted in the best interests of the people.
Ward 1 deserves leadership that is present, approachable, accountable, and ready to do the work. I am committed to protecting what makes our community special while supporting responsible growth, stronger communication, and a better future for Adjala-Tosorontio.

Meet Amanda
I am a wife, mother, entrepreneur, educator, executive coach and proud community member running to represent Ward 1 in Adjala-Tosorontio.
With experience in education, business, leadership, and community service, I bring a practical, people-first approach to public service. I believe strong communities are built when residents feel heard, families feel supported, businesses are encouraged, and decisions are made with transparency, common sense, and long-term responsibility.
I have has spent my career helping people grow, lead, communicate, and move forward with confidence. As an educator, I understands the importance of listening, patience, accountability, and preparing the next generation for success. As a business owner, I know the value of hard work, responsible planning, customer service and following through. As a mother, I care deeply about the kind of community children and families are growing up in.
My leadership style is direct, collaborative, thoughtful, and action-oriented. I believe residents deserve a councillor who is accessible, prepared, honest, and willing to work hard on the issues that matter most.
I'm running because I believe Ward 1 deserves a strong, engaged voice at the table; one that listens to residents, respects the community, and works toward a stronger future for everyone.

Responsible Growth & Infrastructure First
I support responsible growth that protects our rural character and ensures roads, water, wastewater, drainage, and community services are properly planned before development moves forward.
My focus:

I will advocate for safe roads, reliable water and wastewater systems, and practical infrastructure planning that protects residents’ quality of life and ensures growth does not outpace what our community can support.
